Store format for the “Ottica Salva” store chain. The underlying topic of the renewed store image is the idea of “sight” and the pleasure deriving therefrom in all aspects of everyday life. Elaborating on that, the idea of traveling and the pleasure to “see” and discover new places. The shop fittings, therefore, are reminiscent of travel topics in signage as well as in furniture like the counter fitted with bike wheels or the boxes for storing glasses that recall old trunks with leather handles. The new format enhances sell-out dynamics, making the storing area for goods in stock redundant and almost doubling the number of glasses on display. The project is designed to fit the store chain’s different layouts without compromising store recognizability. To date, the first 4 shops in the Turin area have been refurbished.
